“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks,
breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun” — Mary Lou Cook

Start a FREE Blog for fun, to share your hobbies, or use as part of your business marketing... My favourite place to create a quick and easy Blog is Blogger at www.blogger.com. You may be able to start your blog within a couple of hours, or it may take a couple of weeks to finalise your design and create some Posts.
These are roughly the steps to publish your Blog on Blogger:
  • Sign in to Blogger
  • Choose your Blog address
  • Choose a Theme
  • Create some Blog Posts
  • Create some Blog static Pages
  • Adjust your Theme
  • Adjust the Blog Layout
  • Adjust your Sidebar
  • Adjust your Blog Settings
  • Preview and check your Blog
  • Publish your Blog online
  • Let everyone know where to find your Blog
  • Have a Blog Launch party!

“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun” — Mary Lou Cook
It's easy to create your own Blog. The tricky part is deciding what your Blog is going to be about - what's it all for? It's worth spending some time considering why you'd like to have a Blog. Once you know what you'd like to achieve you can start creating & posting Posts. Some reasons to have a Blog may include:
  • To stay in touch — with friends & family, or customers & clients
  • To share your hobbies & interests with the world — provide stories, images, & videos online
  • To create an online journal — for family events, business development, or travel...
  • Relaxation & stress relief — a diary of your thoughts, reflections, feelings, & creative solutions
  • To practise writing, photo editing, etc — explore & develop your creative skills & get feedback from others
  • To have a semi-private online journal — just for you & a few select others
  • For SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) — as part of your website & business marketing
  • To share your business ideas & advice with clients & customers.
